Our client is a large haulage contractor with more than 35 years’ experience on the roads of Europe. - Coordination and appropriate composition of drivers from various countries taking into account the language and culture related differences
- Cross-cultural management and coaching of dispatchers, local hauliers and drivers
- Ensuring the best possible conditions for the efficiency of the dispatchers
Since Vienna is an important transport hub, it is desirable that you are located in or near Vienna. You can expect travel activities of around 3-4 days a week. When you are not travelling, you will be working from your home office or from a suitable office space in the Vienna area.
Your professional and personal qualifications
Being the ideal candidate, we presume that you possess the following professional qualifications:
- Experience in transport and logistics – possibly from a production with similar challenges
- Strong business acumen and financial understandig

As a manager, you act in a visible and open way, communicating clearly and constructively. You are the kind of person who takes ownership, and you have a natural talent for motivating and empowering others to do the same.
Your educational background is not essential. It is your professional experience that counts. However, we imagine a person with a technical background such as production or logistics engineer combined with commercial and management experience - or a commercially educated person with technical and managerial experience. The job requires that you are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
